“They were all interwoven and interlocked, entwined in a thousand ways.
And all the voices, all the goals, all the yearnings, all the sorrows,
all the pleasures, all the good and evil, all of them
together was the world.” Hermann Hesse
(A quote that appeared in the Y’s Tales, 1972)
It’s been 40 years since we parted from one another and bid farewell to the hallowed halls of York High School. We closed the door on that chapter of our lives, and carried on all our hopes and dreams. Today, we try and wrap our minds around that span. How can it possibly be 40 years?
We were once a community onto ourselves. And this reunion weekend promises a chance to reconnect with friends, unlock a hundred “do-you-remember” moments, and ignite a glow of glory days. The older we get, the better we were, the sweeter the memories, the stronger the gratitude for what we once shared.
We hope that many of us will participate in the events planned for the reunion weekend (see what’s in store for you by checking out the Events page). Try tackling our reunion quiz. Don't forget to RSVP and sign the Guestbook. Click on the buttons on the left to take you to various pages of our website.
This site is interactive so please help enhance it for us all with your photos, your current information, and your recollections. It is what we make of it.
Thank you in advance, and start looking forward to one great weekend! See you in October.
